Knee Replacement Avoided With Hyaluronic Acid & MSM!
Do you suffer from bad knees? Do you waddle back and forth like a duck because it hurts to walk normally? Does it seem like your knees are getting worse and even the best knee brace does not help? Did your doctor tell you knee replacement is in your future?

I too had horrific knee pain. It started out innocent enough with a strange creaking noise in my right knee whenever I went down the steps. That was a warning, but I was an idiot and just ignored it, figuring it was just a normal sign of aging. About 6 months later, my knee started to hurt so much that I could not walk without a knee brace. Then, to add to my misery my other knee started hurting too.
I wore knee braces on both knees for about 2 years. My mother just had knee replacement surgery on both her knees, and I was taking care of her and trying to get her through the ordeal of knee surgery. My mother's new knees worked out well for her. She was one of the lucky ones. When my mother was at physical therapy, I sat in the waiting room and talked to other knee surgery victims. Yes, I said victims, because most people who were having the knee replacement surgery did not get better! Most were in tears and miserable when they limped out of the physical therapy room.
After all of this, I knew I did not want to have knee replacement surgery or any other kind of knee surgery for that matter. What could I do? The situation seemed so hopeless, and the knee pain was just about unbearable.
I turned to the internet and searched for a way out. It was then that I started reading about hyaluronic acid for joint pain. Thinking I had nothing to lose, I went and got some. Well, the following testimony is nothing short of a miracle! I started taking 2 capsules twice a day, and within two weeks my knees were feeling better! Then I read an article about MSM, and how helpful it was for arthritic problems, so I added that to my diet also. Within the next two weeks, my knees were feeling so much better that I no longer needed my knee braces. That was two years ago and my knees are still pain free, and the crunching, grinding noise in my right knee is also gone.
But wait, there are even more benefits to hyaluronic acid and MSM. When I went in for a yearly check up, my doctor asked me what I did to stay so young looking. He told me I looked like I was in my early 30s, and hey I am 20 years older than that. Now this is a medical doctor saying this, a trained observer. I have always looked a little younger than my true age, but when I started taking hyaluronic acid and MSM my skin became literally wrinkle free! Not only that it is tight and toned, and yes it is a miracle!
For years hyaluronic acid was touted as being a wrinkle pill in a bottle, but I never believed that, but I do now! People all over look at me in disbelief when I tell them my true age. They ask me what I do to stay so young, and sometimes I tell them my secret and sometimes I don't, but I always tell people with knee pain what I do. And of course, a person always looks better too when they are not limping around with a face full of pain!
Yes, I can laugh now and make jokes about it, but knee pain is a horrible thing to have to live with. If you have knee pain try hyaluronic acid and MSM. Just a word of warning, don't take many times over the normal dose, this might make you ill. Always follow the guidelines on the bottle, and if you take a lot of other medications you should go and see your doctor and tell him what you are taking. You never know how other pills can affect the medication you are taking, so this is very, very important.
Last, I have a few friends who are heavy drinkers. When they tried hyaluronic acid for joint pain, and to look younger it simply did not seem to work for them when it worked great for many others. I assume alcohol cancels out the hyaluronic acid and MSM. So, if you drink more than a few drinks a day, you can try this, but it might not work. If you really have a lot of knee pain and face a knee replacement surgery, it might be in your best interest to drink a little less so that the hyaluronic acid and MSM has a chance to work.
I am just so grateful I found out about this, and I want to tell as many people as possible. If you have ever seen a knee replacement surgery, you will not want one. It's the stuff of Frankenstein movies. Many people have successful knee replacement surgery, and just as many have botched knee replacement surgery and end up in more pain than before. I tell everyone, just try this hyaluronic acid and MSM first for a few months and see what happens. And last, if it does not work out for you, find a really good doctor to do your knee replacement surgery. Ask people who had successful surgery what doctor they went to. The right doctor makes all the difference. And last but not least, my prayers of healing are with all those who suffer from knee pain.

I've been plagued by knee problems for years, ever since a motorcycle accident when I was nineteen. Where do you get hyaluronic acid and MSm?? I'd love to give them a try.
They're available online Amanda - around £10 to £20 for 100 tablets. Hyaluronic acid helps in replacing the synovial fluid.
What also seems to work is Serratiopeptidase, the silkworm enzyme - 10 mg a day - I had a motorcycle accident too - and I like to think my knee is back to normal!

Thnaks everyone for your comments! If we can help each other through natural means, well...it doesn't get any better than that. My mother had both her knees replaced, and that is a horrible surgery, however she is now dancing again. I would rather take hyalurinic acid, because it helps all the joints, and it leaves your skin totally wrinkle free and young looking. It really is a facelift in a bottle. Of course you have to stay out of the sun too.
I must print this off for my Mum, as she is due to have knee replacement surgery in the next few months on both knees. I really hope it helps and that we can easily get hold of the stuff you recommend here in the UK. Thanks
Dear Misty! Yes, please tell you Mum about this! She may be able to avoid knee surgery, which is a very major ordeal. I would also use the MSM with the Hyaluronic Acid. Just the other day I twisted my knee and it was all puffed up and I was miserable. I started the MSM and Hyaluroic acid, and now 3 days later, my knee is fine.
Let me tell you how bad my knees were before I started taking the Hyaluronic acid...I was wearing knee braces on BOTH knees for over 2 years, and I was just waiting until my mother got through her knee replacements, so that I could go ahead and have mine replaced too. My mother lives next door to me and I was taking care of her because of her knees. I did not find out about the Hyaluroic acid until after she had both her knees replaced. Otherwise, who knows, it may have helped her like it did me.
Long before I had knee pain, my right knee made a creaking noise when I went down stairs. Since at that time, it did not hurt, I did not think too much about it. Well, well...a few months later, all I did was step the wrong way, and oh my...my knee hurt so bad after that, i could not even get comfortable. Then after awhile my other knee hurt, because I was probably putting too much weight on it. I waddled like a duck, and I was soooo miserable. I was ready to have knee replacements, but my mother was going through the same process at the time, so I had to wait, thank God. I can't remember where I heard about Hyaluronic acid for knees, but I think it was an online radio program. I think that info was heaven sent to me, because I was very desperate, and prayed for help.
It took about 2 weeks on the HA before I started feeling better. For some people it may take longer, a friend of mine who used to be a jogger, it took 3 months before he got relief. Everyone is different.
You can get this stuff right off the internet, try ebay...I think there are also some links right on this page for HA, although I don't know who delivers to your country. I would think that you can also get HA and MSM at any health food store. I pay less than 6.00 a bottle for my HA at Wal Mart. I can tell you, I am never without it.
If it comes to the point where your Mum has to get her knees replaced, just make sure they give her medication for 2 weeks after the surgery that prevents blood clots. This is very important. I had to give my mother a shot for 2 weeks after her surgery for blood clots. There were plenty of blood clot deaths associated with this surgery, so they finally did something about it!
Also, read up about knee replacements on the internet, and then find a good doctor who can refer you to other patients that he performed this surgery on. Knee replacement success has a lot to do with the surgeon who performs it! There are some very good doctors, and there are others who should not be doing this surgery at all. Ask, ask, ask! If they don't have time for your questions, head for the door. If you can find a doctor that does surgery on professional athletes, this is usually a good doctor. Professional athletes have their whole career hanging in the balance, so you know they are going to find the very best surgeons to do the surgery on them. These are the kind of surgeons you want for you Mum too. It worked out very well for my mother, and she was soooo happy we found a doctor involved in sports medicine. Others we know who had knee replacements by home town surgeons never got better, and some are even in wheel chairs.
The best of luck to your Mum, please let me know how things work out for her. She is going through a very rough ordeal. Bad knees can make you just miserable! However, she will get better again, even if she needs knee replacement in the end, if she gets a good surgeon she will be dancing again within a year. My mother's knees are great now, she can do everything! She even climbed up on the roof the other day!
Thanks so much for the info. Mum has asked me to get her some of the stuff you recommended, and although she is due to go in for her op in March, we will see how the medication works out.

We are pretty much stuck with the doctors we have in Guernsey as it is a small island, but this one is Indian and he seems very good if she ends up having the surgery. I know she doesn't fancy going to the mainland because of the risk of MRSA infection, which is virtually unknown here in Guernsey.
Dear Misty- I just want to tell you the dose I was taking ....was hyaluronic acid 20mg, twice a day, and MSM 1000mg, twice a day.
I think it would be safe to take more than that, but I would consult with a health care provider before taking too large a dose of anything.
I am excited and hopeful that your Mum will be feeling better in the very near future. So far, this has helped three people who I know personally, not including myself.
BTW, if your Mum does need surgery, the Indian doctors are usually very, very intelligent and GOOD doctors. They are also not as arrogant as our doctors sometimes seem to be.
I think your Mum is in good hands, but hopefully she will not need to have surgery at all.
Just a little update on this story...
About a month ago, I twisted my knee while walking on ice. I even heard it make a noise! I was lucky to get back into the house and not end up a human popsicle, that's how much it hurt.
I had to rummage around and look for the HA because I stopped taking it a few months ago. To make a long story short...HA got me back and up on my feet again within a few days. My knee is still a little sore, but with the HA and MSM it is well on the mend.
I just thank the Lord for these supplements. I hate surgeries, and I am sure they would have said I needed something like that if I went to the doctor.
If you suffer from knee pain, you owe it to yourself to try these two supplements.
Hyaluronic acid does provide additional 'padding' for your knee. However, the only approved use for it, is injecting it directly into your knee joint. This year's May edition of the Journal of Family Practice reviews the studies done on this. The acid has a pain relieving effect, similar to that of taking an NSAID.
The injection gives relief for about 5-9 months, after which symptoms return. The next injection will give relief for a smaller period of time.
As mentioned, oral hyaluronic acid has not been approved and there are no good studies to show it is effective. However some animal studies show that the acid is taken up by joints and tissues when taken orally.
All I can say is that it worked great for me. I am not giving medical advice to anyone, I am just telling people what worked for me. I don't think taking this supplement as stated on the label would be harmful, however just to be on the safe side, consult your doctor first.

If she can just give this a try for a few months, she just might avoid knee surgery. Anyway, it cannot hurt you, that's the main thing. Of course, everyone's situation is a bit different.
If she does have knee surgery, try to find a surgeon who takes care of professional sports clients. Sometimes these doctors will advertise that they are into sports medicine. These guys usually have all the new cutting edge advances. They all charge the same, so do some shopping around.
Most knee replacemnts work out well, but it is a major, major surgery.
I wish you and your wife well, and hope everything turns out.

Tell her to try it and see what happens. It does not help everyone, and it usually helps younger people better than the older ones, but give it a try.

Arthritis slowly destroys the joints. I feel bad for your Mom. 23 years is a very long time to be in pain.
My MOm had to have both of her knees replaced, she was in pain a long time too. Now, she is doing fine with her new knees, and happy that she got them replaced.

I have not heard before regarding neither MSM nor hyaluronic acid. It sounds really good! My wife and me also facing knee problem and thinking to try those medicine, I have to find out whether it is available in Indian or not.
My Mom is 79 and has been in a wheel chair for the past 2 years. Her knees just give out when she stands too long.
She has severe osteoporosis and has had 6 surgeries to fill fractured/comptressed vertebrae with cement. I am searching for a miracle to help her. Any one think this will help at her advanced age and circumstances?

I do not know if this will help your mother or not. I would talk to your doctor and see what he says.
At the very least, I don't think it would hurt her, but because she is battling so many different things, I would consult her doctor just to make sure.

If you are older and have aches and pains most of the time, I would take a little HA everyday, like one capsule.
If that works, stay with that dose, if you have a flair up, take more, but read the label, do not exceed what they suggest on the label.
HA works for me, and it makes your skin nicer too. My mother was getting big ugly age spots on her arms whenever she got bumped, now that she takes HA, she does not have a problem with that anymore.
Just remember, at first, it may take time to get relief because the HA has to get into your system.

My wife has bad knees. She's been taking the Dr Powers Joint Support + Vitamin B12 for 45 days. She said that she could tell a difference after about three weeks, the pain seemed to be less. The tablets are easy for her to swallow and she has trouble swallowing a number of pills.

Great info -- I have my left knee scoped a couple years back and had bad aching for months after - then I read that 1tsp of Cinnamon and 1TBS of honey a day would help --- it helped me with amazing results.

I would make this as a gift to my mother. She is still 55 going 56 this April 13,. Thank's that she is still fine at that age.
My advice is I recommend that you consult a doctor before buying any medicine. Wrong in buying drugs would be fatal to the pain you suffered. In consultation with the doctor, you will get the best advice and the best drugs for treating pain that you suffered.

Juanitaa- Wow, you are young to have a knee replacement at your age, I don't blame you for not wanting another one. Just talk to your doctor and tell him about the HA and MSM. He would know better than me than me if this is the best thing for you. I just want to get the information out there so that people know there are other things they can try.
It has been a godsend for me. I do a lot of work around the farm, lots of lifting, etc and whenever my knee starts to bother me, I just take some HA and right away it helps. Of course, at first I had to take it for several months before it helped. I also have a bad back, and if I have to walk like a duck from knee pain, it makes my back pain a lot worse too.

I know about MSM but not hyaluronic acid so thanks for the info. I know that cider vinegar gets rid of knee pain (and in other joints) if it is caused by arthritis too.
