We Need To Start Drlling NOW!
The United States has plenty of oil within US borders. We don't have to rely on foreign oil anymore! It is just a matter of drilling and getting the oil out. The oil is there! Remember the song...."America, America God shed his grace on thee"? It is true! God provided this country with more than enough oil for generations to come.

So there we have it! It is time for the US to get serious about energy independence and drill for oil. The environmentalists should move to China and India where pollution is really is out of control. With the new technology used in the oil fields of today, the impact on the environment is there but it is controlled. With environmental controls oil fields can be environmentally safe.
When it comes to the environment we need to understand that as long as there are billions of people living on this planet, there will to be a negative impact on the environment. That is just the way it is unless billions of people die, and even then environmentalists would complain about rotting corpses creating a problem for the environment. There is simply no way around problems with the environment when you have billons of people to contend with. The human race needs to protect this planet, yet we have to live too. Living without energy is not an option. Until we have plentiful, green energy we will have to rely on the oil based solutions of old. It will take time to convert to green energy and that quest is just as important as drilling for oil is now. We can't let the ball drop in either arena.
Obviously we should have been exploring our oil supplies 10 years ago. Now it will take at least 2 years before oil and then gas will come back down to a livable price for most Americans. 80% of all Americans claim climbing gas prices are affecting their lives in a very negative way.
And is it no wonder! Food prices go up every time a barrel of oil reaches a new high. Add to all of this are the flood woes of the Midwest which will mean even higher food prices yet to come. This winter will be especially tough for most people as they struggle to heat their homes with the highest projected heating costs of all time, and if that is not enough, they will be hit with unaffordable food prices, making it harder than ever to put food on the table for the family. This is not the America I know, or want to know.
Whoever wants to be the next president can easily get elected if they take the bull by the horns, and start drilling! We need to open the US oil fields in Alaska, Montana, and North and South Dakota as soon as possible. And, once we have that oil flowing all across America, we can tell the Middle East what to do with their oil. For too long we danced to their tune. It was degrading to both President Bush and Americans across the country when he went begging to the Saudi's, hat in hand, pleading for increased oil production, which the Saudi's denied. No American president should ever have to go through that again, especially when we have billions of barrels of oil right in our own back yard.
The next few years will be a time of financial hardship, but once American oil becomes available, it will not take long for the economy to turn around. This time of austerity is beneficial in a way, because it forces us to seek new and better ways to do things. And, new and better ways of doing things.....well that is a lot of what this country is all about! In the face of adversity, we will prevail and prosper in the end! We can do it! God Bless America!

Yes, Kartika Damon...I agree with you there. I think solar and wind are the way to go, however, it is always nice to know that we would have some huge oil fields in reserve. Just knowing they are there, even if we never use them, its kind of like having insurance. That way, no matter what we will have all our bases covered.
I also believe in conservation. We consume way too much of everything!
Good article. Why not drill and have plenty of oil reserves as alternative energy sources are put into play. We'll always have a need for oil -- so why should the U.S. be heavily reliant on foreign sources. After all, more drilling could also create more . . . jobs!

India has many intelligent people, I would not be at all surprised if one of them will come up with the solution for cheap fuel in the future.
The USA also has more coal than any other country!
Here in the midwest, we grow corn for ethanol, but we are trying to have that stopped. American famers feed the rest of the world. If a food crop goes for fuel, sure we would have enough left to eat, but what about everyone else? The ethanol plants around here are closing down, because they use up a lot of our water too.
Right now, all across America, people are working on finding a better fuel than oil.
We are looking at solar and wind, but we are also wondering if we can harness lightening.
Every thirty years, American re-invents herself, with every new generation, we get better. We will come up with something, I am sure of that. We are even developing warfare so that all our tanks, soldiers will appear invisiable! We already can do that with planes. Most of the best things come out of the defense department and we look at the need for oil as a national security issue.
As for the middle east, let's not forget that we paid BILLIONS of dollars for that oil. So how come those poor people in Iraq are living in such poverty? Our guys come back from over there and they simply cannot believe how these people have to live, in MUD HUTS! There is nothing decent to eat and no water. And,,,the heat! What a God forsaken place. I do feel bad for those people, but all they want to do is fight and start war with Iran. I say, Let Them!
As for sharing oil with the rest of the world....that will never happen. We will share technology, but oil is the same as blood in America, its the real reason we are in the middle east right now where we don't belong.

You forgot of cost of drilling and exploration. In Iraq, for example, it is $4 per barrel, in West Siberia $14 per barrel, in Canada and the USA more than $30 (slightly cheaper off-shore). Therefore, for a long time it was simply not profitable to drill in the USA. Now when price of oil is around $80, to drill here makes more sense, particularly off-shore. And I agree 'Drill baby, drill!'

I have also heard that most of the push or passion around alternative energy is a scam by liberals to help their friends make money of taxpayers and the public. Many solar, wind, ethanol and other alt energy firms went bankrupt the last few years. While the technology needs to be progressed it may be another 100 years before one of them makes a real contribution to the global energy need... We may as well replace the word "oil' with "affordable food, health-care, education, heat in the Winter and AC in the Summer, loved and wanted children, freedom to travel and freedom from censorship, as well as the pursuit of happiness, joy, longevity and environmental protection." Yes, of course you are right, without oil our lives would be very different. Just the medical field alone would slide back a 100 years without plastics! Oil is America's lifeblood.
What we need is more American, (can do), Tigers! This country reinvents itself every 20 years with every new generation. I have a lot of faith in the men of this country, just look at what they have done so far! For instance, just look at that oil rig in the gulf, if they can build something like that, they can do anything. If there is oil somewhere in America they will find it and develop it and if not, they will go and fight for it.

Now, about all this "we'll run out of oil eventually so we need to look for alternatives" hooey: In his landmark book "Deep Hot Biosphere" Dr. Thomas Gold (the guy who gave us Radar, and umpteen other life-critical inventions) completely trashes the "Fossil Fuel" myth.
The fossil fuel assumption was made in the 1880s, and serves the liberal ~we're gonna run out!~ agenda so well that despite no scientific proof of the process, it's still promulgated as "how hydrocarbons came to be."
Without going into detail, let me just sum it up this way; Hydrocarbons, which we find as coal, oil, natural gas, and a small number of other substances, are continually being created at the Mantle, and are a natural by-product of the formation of the earth. They have a lighter specific gravity than the strata of the Crust, and rise as far as they can, forming large subterranean deposits.
Dr. Gold proved that if you drill deep enough, anywhere on earth, you'll eventually strike oil. He talked the government of Sweden into drilling in a spot ALL the geologists swore would be the last place to ever find oil, and they now have a working oil well.
We will run out of oil around the same time we run out of seawater and sunlight. Endlessly searching for "renewable alternatives" is busy-work that siphons off manpower and money.
Wow, I will sleep better tonight knowing this, it makes sense too. The government should look into this instead of promoting all these alternatives that never seem to work out as they should.

I don't know if you are aware of it, but in the 60's, henry Kissinger had the Muslim oil producing countries sign an agreement with the US. These are the conditions:
1. Gull Island and other Alaska resources would be classified and not developed
2. All oil producing signatories would sell oil in US currency
3. All US debt would be bought by these Muslim signatories.
Only Iraq and Iran would not sign.
1. Iraq (Saddam Hussein) 2nd largest oil field
2. Iran 3rd largest oil field

Having lived in Saudi Arabia I get a feeling the Arabs are not taking good care to conserve this source of energy (oil). Coupled with the import of gas guzzling limos the problem of oil-less days for Arabs are not too far away. Is the US unwittingly contributing to this. After all the US and the world do get cheap oil from the Middle East so why not tell the myopic Arabs the usefulness of thriftiness.

The Bakken Formation only has about 4 billion barrels. You fell for an internet myth. Think about it. If there were really trillions of dollars worth of oil down there, credible news services would certainly jump on the story!!!
The problem with the shale deposits is that it requires more energy to extract the oil than can be got out of it.
Prudhoe Bay is declining. ANWAR is estimated to only have about 10 billion barrels of recoverable (and lower grade) oil.
Much of the oil off the continental shelves will not be economically recoverable.
You have to remember than the US uses 7.5 billion barrels a year. At that rate, even a 100 billion barrels, assuming it all could be recovered and not taking the energy required to cover it into account, is not a long-term solution!
This is no magic bullet or conspiracy here. US oil production peaked in 1970 and nobody has been able to reverse the trend every since.

BTW, we also have trillions of cubits of natural gas. In fact we have more natural gas in America than anywhere else in the world.

Magnoliazz, you're on target. I've written a couple of hubs related to the Bakken formation AND driven big rig water tankers in the gasfields of western Colorado. Now, good news / bad news.
Bad news: The Obama administration has sent feelers out, trying to figure out how to shut down drilling in NORTH DAKOTA and still get away with it politically.
Good news:
1. So far, he obviously hasn't found a way to do that--and with the Tea Party powering the Republicans back to life, he probably (or at least hopefully) WON'T, eiher.
2. The shale oil extraction technology is up and running now.
3. Drilling in the Bakken in western North Dakota brought a boom that saw 40 rigs working in the state in 2006...and 166 rigs drilling there as of yesterday. (The state of ND has a "drilling rig activity" page accessible to the public on the Intenet; I check its numbers every couple of days.)
4. My most detailed knowledge of North Dakota drilling activity pertains to Dunn County. During my time in the eastern Montana oilpatch, back in 1981-82, we saw a lot of wells that produced 50 barrels of crude per day (or thereabouts). But in parts of Dunn County, North Dakota, wells are coming in that are producing anywhere between 800 and 2200 barrels per day.
4. They're hitting very few dry holes. There's a state page (same govt. website) that shows this information as well. I haven't actually counted, but it looks like 98% of the holes drilled are coming up with marketable amounts of oil.
And yes, as you say, of course they are going to tell us there is no more oil. They're also not going to report on the ongoing Bakken boom unltil they are literally forced to do so.

i'd prfer them extracting natural Gas(if they can keep it out of the aquafers) the oil that your talking about isn't anywhere near the surface. we need alternatives because we are going to run out of cheap oil at other countries expense some day. it is the cost of drilling that determines how the profits work out and if its worth it to begin with. All the oil you speak of would run the country for awhile, but its a finite resource, and the risks of drilling offshore(esp in deep water as we saw) are too great. In the interim NG would be safer.
You're right.... We have 132 oil suppliers, and Saudi Arabia provides only 10% of the Nations oil. If the other suppliers moderately increase their exports to the U.S. Saudi becomes expendable when it comes to oil.
We can do this without touching America's reserves.
What we really need is to increase Americas refining capacity, that is what is proping up oil prices.
All the hopes, positive sentiments, well-wishing, warm kudos, and frisky kitten love will not change the status quo, anymore than changing the color of your hair will make your face and spirit any less beautiful.
Sure, there is plenty of oil, but very little is ever put on the market at once. Take diamonds, for instance: There are billions of diamonds within the earth, but to keep prices high and to make huge profits, DeBeers and a handful of other diamond cartels control how many diamonds see the light of day. It's all about making obscene profits.
Where I live, we have plenty of windfarms. This year the windfarm companies are having a crisis - their farms made too much electricity and the price they want to sell their electricity at to ensure maximum PROFITS is just too low right now, so they are going to sit on all that "juice" and wait until the prices go up. Seems like a wasted opportunity to me.
Now, I know what a blonde bombshell like you may be thinking. Why don't they give the surplus to the people thus lowering their electricl rates, at least for awhile, so all people can rejoice in their prosperity.
But, my precious flower, the end result of capitalism is GREED. The people don't benefit with surpluses because it cuts into the bottom line. It's kind of like price-fixing. Say, for instance, all the cereal companies get together and agree to sell their cereals no cheaper than $1.99 per box. Now, they don't need to worry about the invisible hand of competition. By the way, this scenario really happened...it may be illegal, but companies do it all the time.
I think their philosophy is, "It's only illegal if you get caught". But, even if they do, they will stand to make much more in filthy profits than they have to pay in fines. My point is, oil companies, diamand cartels, drug cartels and a host of other tycoons, are addicted to huge profits and won't play ball unless they get it.
So, let us get back to oil. Now, we all know there is gobs of oil out there, but these multi-billion dollar companies like Exxon and Chevron have no interest in putting more on the market. Just a couple years ago, when gas hit over $4.00 per gallon, Exxon made more profits than they ever did and they were ranked #1 on the Forturne 500 companies list. In fact, things were so good for Exxon, that they made more profits than the next two Fortune 500 companies combined (also oil companies). Their CEO also received a paltry $300 million dollar bonus. Think we're being robbed at the gas pump?
You see, my dove, Corporate America owns the presidency and the senate and congress, etc. It is because of them that our army of warmongers are raping and ravishing the Middle East. Bush, Cheney and Rice were all big oil people. Condolisa Rice was on the board of Chevron for 10 years before being recruited by the Bush administration. In fact, they had an oil tanker named the Condolisa, in her honor. She had them remove the name after her appointment to the White House. We don't have presidents in the White House anymore, all we have are front men for secret societies, business tycoons and oil executives.
Benjamin Disraeli said it best(house of parliament circa 1850), "The public would be surprised to know that the people running the governments are far different than who they would expect." (Loose quote).

Alright, It's all starting to make since. Just think about it. Elite people in power are waiting for the other countries to use up their oil. But while we are doing this, they are pocketing on American Dollars and building their armies while starving their people. While we face "trillions" of dollars in debt, we loan nearly 1/4 of that in military aid to countries like Egypt. One thing we do have to worry about as Americans is the truth getting out once the world knows we've been playing them as a fool, I'm afraid they will team up against us. It's already in the workings Countries Like Russia And China are increasingly holding secret meetings and funding and arming countries like Iran who want to "blow Isreal" off the map. Most people aren't aware of it. But we hold alot of power in the world Cause we are the world reserve currency. Which means oil is priced in U.S dollars. But China and Russia are the Euro-Union are holding meetings talking about switching to the yuan or the euro, My biggest concern is China, We've funded their uprising while we declined. Their sole intention is to replace us as a Super Power. But I believe that won't happen, us Americans always have something tricky up our sleeves, We fall off and pick our selves back up. No other country is nearly as free and oppertunity rich like us.
Bring back the SUV was probably said as more of a joke, but consider the fact that America is #1 in the world burning 18 thousand barrels of oil per day and China is next on the list at 8 thousand. We need to set a better example. Just as we have the largest waste lines in the world we also have 2 cars per family and outside of a few large cities we barely use public transportation. I predict that China and India will close the gap on oil consumption as each country continues to develop and their citizens gain wealth. You can buy a new car in India for $6k or less, and people are taking to the roads like never before. No argument above seems to consider the consequence of extracting a fossil fuel from the earth's crust and releasing the gases into the atmosphere at such an extraordinary rate. Since the industrial revolution our avg. temps have risen by 1 degree, causing melting ice caps, sea level rise and natural disaster. What happens if we burn twice as much over the next 60 years? From an environmental aspect the US will be begging the China,Iindia and Brazilla's of the World to do as we say not as we have done when it comes to consuming oil. I say give a hybrid or all electric car a chance. They may be ugly and lack the punch of a gas guzzler, but that is sure to change and I say the trade off is well worth it.

A different look at the problems.
Obama says that we are pumping more oil today, just another half truth because the pumping is on private land. We are pumping 30% less oil on public land (taxpayer owned ).Leases on government land to open drilling is 0 in the Obama administration. Obama says if we keep the cost of gas high, the use of oil will drop and prices will drop because the supply will be more. Than in the next breath, Obama wants to release the oil in the reserve to increase the supply. Sounds like Obama is agreeing the need to increase production of oil. All the pumping today on PUBLIC LAND is because of Clinton and Bush.
Allow me to clarify
1. When oil comes from private land sources, the government only gets revenue when the private companies make PROFIT. Obama complains about the oil companies making billions of profit. Why would Obama and the Democrats complain when the companies are paying (the American taxpayer, Treasury ) 40% of those profits to the treasury. WHAT A DEAL, the government gives the companies $4 billion in subsidies to search for oil, the oil companies spend more than the $ billions to find oil (on public land ) and more $millions to get permit approvals to drill. Note that without profit the treasury starves for revenue.
2.When oil comes from public lands, the government has a better deal. The oil companies pay for the leases( they are open bided on), receives a oil royalty of about $18.00 a barrel on each barrel produced. Somehow the better deal for the taxpayers is to pump on public land because not only profits are gained but the addition of lease money and royalties increase the REVENUE returns.
SHELL OIL in Alaska after spending $ millions to procure permits have been waiting 2 years for permits to drill.
In the gulf 5 oil companies have waited 2 years for the permits that have been denied by the Obama administration. The Obama administration has been held in contempt of a federal judges court order for the past 1.5 years to allow the permits to be released. The oil moratorium shut down oil in the gulf.
On 3/17/12 Petrobas, a George Soros investor of a Brazilian oil company, received the permits to drill in the gulf. Petrobas was given a US Government loan approved by President Obama when he returned from a Brazilian trip.
The President makes jokes of ‘’ drill baby drill’’ and claims that he doesn’t have any control of high prices.
On the campaign trail, Obama contends that the Republicans claims to open the drilling fields will not reduce the prices of oil. Why not try to prove the Republicans wrong? Obama’s idea to getting us off the need for foreign oil is to shut down US production. The Man is showing his true colors.
As a student AND teacher of International Relations and Political Science, I've heard people (mostly Americans who just read data and statistics online or in American-authored books) claim that America has more oil than Saudi Arabia and that this oil just needs to be drilled, more times than I can count. I've spent hours explaining the factual inaccuracies and mistakes that come with this view and statement. As an American, I've always wished these people would do their research more thoroughly and not speak on a topic until they've mastered it (and mastering a topic does not mean reading a few articles or books about it.)
Yes, we're the strongest military might in the world at the present. Yes, we are a hegemony. No, we are not ahead of Saudi Arabia in terms of oil power. OPEC dominates oil politics - America does not even come close to doing the same.

I started a hub about oil and haven't gotten a single comment on it. LOL The point of the hub being big oil is most likely organizing and bank rolling the anti-drilling environmentalist groups for the sole purpose of controlling supply and demand. Why product two barrels of oil for $40 a barrel when you can produce only one for $80 or $90 a barrel?
Naturally big oil wants to use less labor and processing and get twice as much for their oil so naturally they will DO ANYTHING to control supply and demand, including setting up powerful anti-drilling groups.
We see the "GO GREEN" people here, that's all good and fine if it was a real viable option but it isn't and never will be until we are running low on oil. "Going Green" is just another initiative to control the supply and demand of oil. A Toyota Prius MIGHT last and run long enough to allow the owner to break even on fuel cost. The cost of the car is too high for anyone to save money. So like the South Park episode, only the pious own Prius.
I agree there is very little evidence to back up any opinion posted here including my own. I agree reading books and watching TV will not provide you or I with enough truth to make a rational judgement but if we rely on understanding human nature we can all be experts in the supply and demand of oil.
Why do we buy foreign oil? We are not going to get the answers to that from the media or our government so we must speculate and use proper judgment. Personally I "believe" we buy foreign oil for two reason, it is cheaper because the cost of production is lower and because if we don't buy it someone else will and oil is power.
If we want to be a powerful country we probably should do everything we can to control the oil supplies.
By not drilling domestically Big Oil controls the supply and demand selling oil for much more a barrel than if they did open up drilling in other regions and we deplete foreign oil sources leaving the U.S as the leading oil reserves.
I may be a little off the mark but my "belief" is much more likely to be realistic than any of the bogus explanations and scenarios fed to us by the media and government.
I bet the spotted owl made a lot of congressman extremely wealthy. Just imagine owning timber outside of the pacific northwest and having the price so low it was barely worth cutting. What do you do? Well you could create an environmentalist group, higher researchers who will take money to say what you want them to say and declare a species endangered and shut down the largest timber producing region in the U.S doing two things, 1) forcing the timber harvest in other regions and 2) driving up the cost of timber.
Sure there are people who love the environment and wish to protect it but only the VERY wealthy groups have a say and the timber owning congress men and pals most likely sponsored the spotted owl environmentalist as big oil sponsors going green and anti-drilling.
By the way Obama doesn't complain unless he is told to. Obama has no say in oil drilling. He does what he is told because the alternative is grim. No big deal, he knew it before he was elected.

As for Jon, everything he has written on this hub is pure FOX hearsay fantasy. Hearsay written by expert con men who studied marketing and advertisement in order to tell people what they want to hear. There is no fact in any of it and BY GOD do not "believe" for a second that because I am rebuking Jon and his political party that I am supporting the other corrupt political party. The two are the same and Jon has taken it upon himself to do his best to convince you they are not the same because the never ending political party fight and debate is what drives this economy and put money into Jon's pockets and takes it out of yours and mine.

Right now the sky is blue. The problem today is "belief" is king and contrary to what people might claim I avoid "belief" like the plague. Jon lives by his "belief" but to be fair so does everyone else. Because of that fact nothing ever gets better in politics or medicine.
I just started a new hub that "believers" like Jon will not touch. "Belief" based people avoid the truth and only debate with people who have "beliefs" to debate. That's how politics work and what my new hub is about. Jon like everyone else cannot give one good reason to vote even though they all feel strongly about voting.
The reason's they vote are not reasons they can go into great detail.
And we do live in a land of free speech but the government controls who can here our free speeches. Sure I can say whatever I want to say here on hubpages and on my own forum but I can say these things in the media.
I mentioned on my new hub how I get a kick out of the movies where the good guy leaks the information to the media and the media brings down the corrupt government. That will never happen. The media is either owned, controlled or both by our government. If something is leaked to the media it is because of "controlled opposition" and our government will use it to further their finical gain.
I disagree with everyone's beliefs because I am agnostic. Beliefs are critical for capitalism but capitalism doesn't treat me as well as it treats others so I do not remain as loyal as someone like Jon might.
Belief is destroying the world because belief is used as a substitute for real wisdom and knowledge.

Lots of people reading this and wondering if I am crazy or a genius? Well considering that Jon and ScreenDoor can't dispute ONE comment on any one of my many blogs or forum topics you can only assume that what I say is too solid for these two and anyone like it to dispute so they attack me. Naturally I do pay taxes. I do not pay taxes because I do not make enough to have to pay taxes.
I would pay taxes if I made enough. However ScreenDoor and Jon will do everything in their power of harassment to see to it that NONE of you consider positive change. You see ScreenDoor and Jon make their living off of manipulation and corruption which is why they will never be able to dispute a single claim by me. They will attack me personally NOT my claims. If my claims were inaccurate they would tell you but you can read their garbage yourself and see they are truly impotent.

I may be poor but that is how the government wants it. They don't want me making a living through the science of immunity or through being honest. They want me to compromise all that is RIGHT and all that is TRUE to make a sleazy buck just like ScreenDoor and Jon.

There is just one thing I would like to say to Screen Door here. I am a nurse and I have taken care of many people so severly disabled that they are on social security. I don't know if that is True Cures situation or not as to get on disabilty you have to either have a year to live or you cannot do productive work because of dire physical conditions.
Its something that I would never wish for. I am so grateful to God that I am healthy enough to get out of bed everyday on my own, get dressed and go to work. Few people realize what a gift that is.
All in all work is great therapy. I feel bad for those people who cannot lead a productive life, they are missing out on a lot.

Mags, Screendoor has been attacking me since I was first on hubpages and she knows that I qualify for welfare which is what she was speaking of. I qualify for welfare because I have dedicated 20 plus years to science instead of a career. The science I research and study is not a profitable science so I do not make a living. I have been on a just cause for more than 20 years without receiving any fruit for my labor.
I receive some donations but they are not enough to even keep the lights on each month. Screendoor was not here to discuss pros and cons of disability or welfare she was here to attack me personally. When it comes to welfare and disability you will not get a genuine discussion out of her. I have a hub on the topic called Welfare, damned if we do and damned if we don't. No one will touch it with a 10 foot pole.
As for writing a book that would be best seller, well only if I write a wild game cookbook maybe. That is on my list of things to do, already have the title picked out and protected.
As for writing a book on politics, it would the same if I wrote a book on health, healing and the science of immunity. No one would buy it. Trust me I know this for fact because one thing people do not do is restructure their entire "belief" system.
It would be like me asking you to become 100% loyal to the political party you like the least. People pick and choose what they want to believe though they can change their opinions occasionally they cannot give up their entire "belief" system in order to see the truth behind the distracting "belief".
When it comes to health and healing both believers in natural medicine and western medicine despise me. When it comes to politics both democrats and republicans despise my messages. That doesn't leave me much of a market to sell any books other than the cookbook.
My problem is I still believe I can force people to discover their ability for complete and full immunity. I can give it to anyone including you Mags but you will never understand it unless you put wisdom before belief. Everyone thinks they can do that because they tend to be completely unaware of the huge sacrifice it means. Basically it means almost everything we "believe" in is wrong and that is a HUGE sacrifice to accept.
C.J and I may hash it out on his hub but I don't feel he is ready to sacrifice his loyalties to modern worldly science yet because is mostly being argumentative instead of inquisitive.
Anyways, I do what I can and when people need to be cured or healed I do it with or without personal rewards.

Clearly Mags is a gracious hub host and two comments up you see Jon stroking Mag's ego. Jon needs to do this because it furthers his cause and he wants people to like and listen to him especially because he needs people to get emotionally involved with his topics and discussions so they the emotions can make them more easily manipulated.
Mags is absolutely right, people like Jon and Screendoor built this country and yes largely through manipulation.
Now here is how the example is tied. I left the comment about Mags being a nurse alone because I do not manipulate or practice being politically correct.
The truth is, Mags as a nurse did or does what she can as a nurse and no matter her intentions it just isn't enough and it just doesn't make a substantial difference. Her training is designed to complement medicine and make it more profitable not to heal or cure people. The best she can do is help people have peace of mind and she is probably pretty good at that judging by her ability to host these hubs. Her training didn't giver her that, she already had it.
Now the question is, how does Mag's take this comment from me.
Lot's of factors there and the average nurse would be greatly offended. It's a lot of work to become a nurse and it is more work to actually nurse. They get all the shitty work and do more than any doctor but the doctors get all the respect. Doctors don't get glory, don't get me wrong, just respect because we are trained to respect them despite our more common dislike for them.
EMOTIONS, can Mags put her emotions aside? Naturally I wish to win her over to keep a fair mediation going here. Though I 100% disagree with today's medical industry I feel it might help if she knew I have some experience as an advanced EMT and have spent quite a few hours in the emergency room myself and have spent many hours in an ambulance doing CPR, running IVs and putting pressure on wounds.
For trauma there is great value in nurses and EMTs but in medicine nurses and EMTs are just a big part of the fraud.

SPOILER ALERT The only evidence that Mags can prove she is above her emotions is to agree that she was never allowed to be in a position to heal or cure someone or improve anyone's health despite what popular belief society has about nurses. CJ that's why I don't spend a lot of energy explaining myself to you. I can tell you are loyal to your "beliefs" and you solidify my assumption as correct with each of your comments.
"You" cannot imagine me knowing so much about healing people when I make so many "fraudulent claims". There lies your loyalty. You call my claims fraudulent though you cannot dispute them any more than Jon or Screendoor can dispute them. You claim me to be a fraud because the world you love prepares you to disregard anything true.

Like all medicine, a nurse is trained to do as they are told. Because I can PROVE that there is no such thing as an incurable disease I can say with complete confidence that nurses are trained to fail. Anything less than a cure is failure. The only reason a person would disagree with that is because they put more faith in medicine and medical science than they do logic and reason.
Keep in mind, trauma is not what I am talking about. Trauma medicine is the BOMB for a reason. Every person saved from trauma stands to live long enough to get a very profitable disease.
Every "belief" today about health and healing comes from a root "belief" that there are incurable diseases (Compounded by the fact that most disease are believed to be incurable.) and that is why I know more about health and healing than any other person.
If there was a way for the world to profit from curing disease or from healthy people everyone would know more about health and healing. The profit comes from people believing they cannot be cured. So no matter the intentions and righteousness of any nurse they are simply trained to fail.
Nurses are the hardest working people in the medical field and I am not attacking their character I am attacking the system that sets them up to fail.

Hey Mag. Your profession is honorable. Have spent a lot of time in hospitals and the ICU unit the last 8 months. My parents are in their 70's. Although I did just lose my Dad at Thanksgiving. Took a leave of absence from my job to help care for them. Out of state. And the "nurses" were always kind. And I put that quotation mark there because a lot of them were male. Regardless of the stereotype. But to a tee they helped me through a tough time and gave great care.
Unfortunately True Cure is a physically fit 40 year old male who stands 6 foot plus. No disabilities. Hey, we all like to have fun and get our message out. Unfortunately me and you and Jon and whoever have to work in order to pay for him to have fun here.
Government assistance is a great thing. For those who truly need it. There is nothing wrong with having a safety net for those who become disabled.
Unfortunately True Cure doesn't fall into that category.

I could start a forum just like your CureZone forum and make tons of money the same as you do but for some reason I cannot make myself pull the trigger.
I want to sell out the same as you do every day but I can't forsake ethics, morals, wisdom and all else that is right.
My way of thinking is this, I spend 40 hours a week trying to save the world and curing people of diseases your CureZone products and gimmicks can't cure and do so without charging the clients because they live in poverty to. So when I get $200 a month for food it allows me to eat while I do good things.
I sometime wonder if I could be like you and do everything for the money without lifting a finger to do things right. Of course if I chose to behave as you do, I to would be spending a lot of time in the ICU watching people suffer. Instead I do everything in my POWER to end suffering while you profit from it.
